Prime 9 - Best Broadcasters

I saw this tidbit on Neil Best's Watchdog blog getting around the newsday paywall.

MLB Network on Monday night will show an episode of Prime 9 featuring "A Countdown Show Featuring the All-Time Top 9 Greatest Baseball Broadcasters". It airs Monday night at 8:30pm on MLB Network.

Any bets if Fran Healy makes the list?

In scanning the TV listings for Classic MLB Baseball, I saw that MLB Network will be showing the 1969 World Series this weekend.

Sat (10/31) 10am - Game 1 (the Mets first World Series game)
Sat (10/31) 12:30pm - Game 2 (the Mets first World Series game win)
Sat (10/31) 3pm - Game 3 (the first World Series game at Shea)
Sun (11/1) 9:30am - Game 4
Sun (11/1) 12pm - Game 5 (the Mets win their first World Series)

and with a few replays
Sun (11/1) 7:30pm - Game 4
Mon (11/2) 3pm - Game 5
Sun (11/8) 7:30pm - Game 5
Sun (11/8) 10pm - Game 4

Mets Spring Training to be featured on MLB Network

Thanks to metsblog.com for reminding me of this.

MLB Network will be covering the Mets as part of their 30 games in 30 days Spring Training/season previews. The show on the Mets will air on February 24 (Tuesday) at 11pm. The crew will be in Port St. Lucie on Monday. Here is the full schedule and some of what they have to offer. The series starts tonight with the Boston Red Sox.
