2010 Mets Spring Training TV schedule

As official as anything posted on MLB.com gets (which I take to be the word of God), the Mets Spring Training TV schedule is out. I'll pull together a post with a composite TV/radio schedule for all Mets games that includes broadcasts from the other team for those of us with MLB.TV.

But here's the televised games available in NY:
Tue March 2 vs Atlanta (SNY)
Thu March 4 vs St. Louis (SNY)
Fri March 5 vs Florida (SNY)
Sun March 7 vs Washington (WPIX)
Tue March 9 vs Houston (SNY)
Thu March 11 vs Boston (SNY)
Sat March 13 vs Detroit (WPIX)
Mon March 15 vs St. Louis (SNY)
Fri March 19 vs Minnesota (SNY)
Tue March 23 vs Atlanta (SNY, ESPN)
Wed March 24 vs Houston (SNY)
Thu March 25 at St. Louis (ESPN)
Sat March 27 vs Washington (WPIX)

It looks like all home games/only home games on either SNY or WPIX, but they're moving the production trucks out for the last week of Spring Training, plus 2 games on ESPN.

FOX also reported that the Mets vs. Yankees game on May 22 will be their first Saturday Game of The Week that will be in prime time. After a few years of 3:55 starts (or thereabouts), they will air two prime time Saturday games. We get a Subway Series game on FOX.

Can't wait to start watching spring training games. I need my baseball fix!
I saw the FOX schedule. I found it somewhat ironic that FOX has 2 primetime Saturday games during the season, yet they became deathly afraid of doing so during the World Series (changing the postseason schedule so the World Series runs through one weekend instead of two).

I'm going to take advantage of the MLB.TV internet package to watch and listen to games at work (when I can), but I know I'll head into the kitchen a minute or two before 1pm on March 2 to put on SNY and take about a 30 minute break. That's where my composite schedule will come in handy.

I would still love to see Joey make a cameo on a Spring Training broadcast.
